Play, compete, and grow with Yonah Mountain Pickleball Club.

The YMPC is introducing Open Play+, a new tradition happening monthly! Our first one is Friday, September 4, with pickleball starting at 5:00 PM, followed by a fun themed dinner.
It’s more than just an evening on the courts—it’s a chance to play, dine and connect with the YMPC community. All ages and skill levels are welcome, so come for the pickleball and stay for the food, fun and fellowship.
YMPC members play and stay for FREE and non-members are just $5.
Good people. Great play. Strong community. That’s what Open Play+ is all about!

Battle through the Yonah Mountain ranks in YMPC’s new Ladder League! Players will compete in rotating pools, with strong finishes providing opportunities to advance from Basecamp to Ascent, Ridge and ultimately the Summit.
The league consists of six sessions held every other Tuesday from September 8 through November 17. Warm-up begins at 6:00 with league play at 6:30. Gender and mixed pools will alternate each session, creating fresh matchups and plenty of friendly competition.
All skill levels are welcome, and you do not have to commit to every session—just show up, play hard and have fun! Registration fee is $10 for YMPC members and $15 for non-members.
Yonah Mountain Pickleball Club is proud to recognize Launch Pickleball as our September Sponsor Spotlight.
Launch Pickleball helps young players learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love for the game.
Through engaging instruction, summer camps, and seasonal leagues, participants build pickleball skills, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and encouraging environment. Whether they are picking up a paddle for the first time or ready to take their game to the next level, Launch Pickleball gives young athletes a great place to play, improve, and make new friends.

On September 27, the YMPC invites you to “Pickle & Praise,” a Christ-centered event held at the White County Parks & Recreation outdoor courts, bringing together pickleball, Christian worship, prayer, fellowship, and fun.
Join us for an exciting evening where everyone is welcome—whether you’re a seasoned player or have never picked up a paddle. Courts will be open for all ages and skill levels, and if you’re new to the game, we’ll be happy to help you learn the basics and get you playing.
More than just pickleball, Pickle & Praise is an opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy friendly play, encourage one another, and spend meaningful time connecting with our Lord and Savior through worship and prayer.
Best of all, the event is completely free. Come for the pickleball, stay for the fellowship, and enjoy an evening of faith and community. For questions about Pickle & Praise, please reach out to our event coordinator, Ryan Hodge, at (678) 873-2852 or email Ryan at ryanh1357@gmail.com.

It’s time to register for the fall pickleball leagues. This season the YMPC will be organizing three MLP leagues. One league for the lower intermediate players (<3.0), a second for intermediate players (3.0-3.75), and finally an advance league for those players 3.8+. The registration fee is $20 for YMPC members and $30 for non-members. Registration is now open so don’t delay, register today!
Notes:
Registration deadline is September 21 with MLP draft night September 24.
Single or double header weekly play will depend on the number of teams.
The leagues are intentionally beginning after the Georgia Mountain Pickleball Club’s (Hiawassee) tournament

Calling all pickleball players 60 and better! Join us for Sensational Seniors on Tuesday, September 22 at White County Parks & Recreation for a fun morning of pickleball, friendly competition, and fellowship.
Play wraps up by noon, so there’s still plenty of day left—and anyone who wants to keep the fun going can join us afterward for lunch at Javi’s Mexican Grill & Tavern.
Registration is just $5 for YMPC members and $10 for non-members, with proceeds benefiting the YMPC Youth Scholarship Fund.
Register by September 18 and come show everyone that great pickleball has no age limit!

Join your fellow pickleball players in supporting the next generation of players! The Yonah Mountain Pickleball Club has established a dedicated fund to help young players access pickleball camps and training leagues providing support for those who may not have the financial resources to cover registration fees or purchase essential equipment.
If you wish to donate now, use the DONATE ONLINE button below. We use the Zeffy site to process donations as the scholarship fund receives 100% of your donation amount (NO processing fee charged). You have the option to donate to Zeffy for their service. At your discretion, you may change the default contribution paid to Zeffy from their default percent to a more modest amount or $0. To make this change, when on the donation amount page, click the "Help keep Zeffy free" drop down and select other.
You may also donate by check (makes checks payable to Yonah Mountain Pickleball Club and note for the scholarship fund and drop in YMPC Dropbox in Wellness Center Lobby) or by Venmo or Paypal.
In addition to the Youth Scholarship Fund, the Yonah Mountain Pickleball Club has launched a "Donate a Paddle" program. If you have gently used pickleball paddles sitting in a closet collecting dust, consider donating them to the club. Your donated paddles will help introduce new players to the game and provide equipment to those who could use a helping hand getting started. See Gina Parks about donating a paddle.

Yonah Mountain Pickleball Club's mission is to facilitate the growth of the sport of pickleball in White County Georgia and support local charities through fundraising by organizing competitive pickleball tournaments, leagues, and other pickleball related events.
Yonah Mountain Pickleball Club is organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
